I will start off by saying this will be a rather lengthy post, but I hope some find it helpful, and I hope those with other brands of colored pencils might do the same for us :) (In another thread, please! LOL)

I did up 2 reference sheets for Prismacolors, one on black and one on white. I will add them to this post. I have also sorted all the colors by manufacturer's number, as well as by the name of the color. This is in case you want to know what a base color looks like, you can reference these charts. I know the limitations of the computer, and that everyone's monitors are set slightly different, but I thought it would be a good place to begin with at least ;) . The charts are done using a "medium" type pressure/color saturation.

Here are the full line of Prismacolors on Black cardstock:

Please feel free to use these charts, copy them, save them, print them, make your own ;) LOL. I used 3/4 inch (approx. 2 centimeters) squares to make the charts and placed them inside a clear holder so I don't smudge them. I can't think of anything else to add at the moment ;) .

:) Thanks Lulu, I am glad you found it helpful! I think I probably spent about 5 hours all told on this project, including about 2 1/2 hours it took me to get every pencil sharpened…LOL. I'm thankful I have an electric sharpener, but even then it overheated a few times while I was sharpening :o .

Great idea adding the names and numbers Ivy :)
